Section 29A not applicable for arbitration invoked before 2015 amendment
Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (A&C Act) provides for time limit for arbitral award. Under the provision, an arbitral award in any arbitration (except international commercial arbitration) shall be made by the tribunal within a period of twelve months from the date of completion of pleadings.
