The Petitioner is presently employed in a firm in Tokyo, Japan. In 2013, he was charged under Section 66A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 in a criminal case heard by the JMFC Court in Nagpur. The court passed the acquittal order in favour of the petitioner. The order was uploaded on the court’s website. The petitioner later realized that the presence of the court order of 2013 though it declared him innocent is causing serious damage to his reputation
